This summer has gone like a blur and I haven't even had a breath of fresh air since June, so forgive me for not writing for a while. I thought I would try to catch up one event at a time so I will start with the arrival of our newest family member. Kade Jed Johnson was born on June 24 to Jed and Nanci and is just a pure delight. He is (so far) just the opposite of Jacob. He is calm and quiet, lies still, snuggles, and is satisfied unless hungry. We welcome him to our growing Johnson clan.
Because of the new baby we decided to all meet in Logan for our little family get together this summer. Dan & Tarah drove from Pullman and we stayed at the Best Western with Jed and Nanci's as our home base. We had a great time at the Logan zoo.......yes, there is such a place. They have all local species (except the monkeys) but it was clean and well kept and the kids loved watching the animals. We spent a day just walking the USU campus and looking at all the familiar places our kids have and still are experiencing there. Then throw in some shopping, swimming, and of course lots of good eating...we had a great time.
