After Christmas Life

The kids have all gone home, the decorations put away and the house cleaning has begun! Good-bye cobwebs, dust, and smudges. The family room is now proclaimed 100% cleaned and scrubbed. Yesterday, before leaving for St. George everything was moved out and the carpet was cleaned and re-cleaned. Today when we returned from St. Georg, Scott helped me move the furniture back in and I inhaled the freshness and clean smell all night. I think I am addicted to cleaning or at least the after-cleaning life. Scott and I took off last night about 6:00 pm for St. George to enjoy our 24 hour break and celebrate the New Year with my parents. On the way down Scott got sicker and sicker. A cold and tightness in his throat came onto him quickly and pretty soon he completely lost his voice. We got him out to go to lunch today but other than that he pretty much slept all day. We made it 23 hours in St. George and he will probably go looking for cows on the mountain tomorrow. He had 23 hours with no phones calls. (oops he said he had a few while Mom and I went to the movie).

Yes, you heard it. I talked mom into going to see "High School Musical 3". It was a little cheesy, but I love cheesy and enjoyed every minute of it. I love all the dancing and the music was great. It's great to see young people having a great time doing good things. They need to make more movies like that.

We had a great Christmas and loved most of all having the fam all together. We had some family pictures taken and can't wait to see them! The kids got Wii's and we had so much fun playing all the games together. The technology in them is mind-boggling! I feel like they are right out of a Star Trek episode or something.

I wish I had your zeal for cleaning. Maybe someday you will rub off on me with that and cooking (Dan would sure love you if you did). So glad that you updated...keep it coming, I love to read it.
