Tis The Season
I don't know what is different (maybe my attitude) but I am excited about the Christmas season this year. I already have the decorations put out and Scott has our lights up. WOW! That is a record. We are usually scrambling to put up decorations all through the month...but they are done and it isn't even December yet. We don't have a tree yet though.....but then that part I am never very excited about. I could do without a Christmas tree and be just fine.....but, Scott loves them and so we will go to the mountains and get one (that part I like) and I will battle it (which means I will fight the negative thoughts I have about Christmas trees). I am very excited to do another tradition that we haven't done for quite a few years but we used to do every year.....that is, go to SLC to the cattlemen's convention. I don't love the city, except at Christmas time. I love all the lights, the music in the stores, and for a day or two to experience the inner city life (sortof) that is without having to drive in it, because I just ride the Trax into the malls. We haven't been to SLC for a long time though and I understand it has changed a lot. So, we'll see what happens. Here's to the beginning of the 2009 Christmas Holidays!

Your decorations looked very lovely. Very Christmasy and that happy Christmas feeling that you get. Thanks for letting us come visit. Don't forget to make rolls soon :) I need a picture.
